Course Description
Our Safeguarding Adults Level 1 Refresher course is designed for anyone who has previously completed their level 1 training, whether that was face-to-face or digitally, and are looking to refresh their knowledge and training.
Our course is suitable for anyone who works with vulnerable adults as part of their role, but doesn’t have many safeguarding responsibilities. It will take you through safeguarding adults as a topic, exploring the many different subjects including sign and symptoms of abuse, and what to do if anyone discloses information to you, and how to report any suspected abuse.
Why take this course?
If you work with vulnerable adults, you have a statutory duty to understand how to safeguard and protect them from abuse, and training is the perfect way to understand your duties. As part of these duties, you must regularly refresh and update your safeguarding knowledge and training, which is why refresher courses are so vital.
Though each company will decide how often training must be updated, a common suggestion is every two years – though this will vary depending on roles and responsibilities.
