Course Description
These courses teach learners to take responsibility for food monitoring procedures, identify food safety hazards and contribute to improvements in food safety practices.

The Food Allergen course involves teaching learners how to identify and understand the main food allergens, and the importance of handling food containing allergens carefully in order to keep customers safe.
The first aid course teaches learners to follow the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines for basic to advanced life support training. Learners will know what to do if they are first on the scene of an incident, how to assess the situation as a potential danger zone and understand the importance of the recovery position and how they may apply it.
The material is provided in an interactive format that is designed to be engaging and accessible. A basic knowledge of food hygiene will mean learners progress quickly, but the course is designed for anyone working in the service or hospitality sectors and should be suitable for any staff member to give them the knowledge needed to work effectively and safely.

This Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering course is designed to help you comply with EU Regulation 852/2004, which requires food businesses to ensure that any employee who handles food is fully trained in food hygiene.
The Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering Course and Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene for Supervisors course are accredited by City and Guilds, while the First Aid Course and Food Allergy Awareness Training Course are accredited by Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
