Course Description

Designed for employers and employees of food establishments which provide seated service, our online course outlines best practices to ensure you and your employees can return to work safely following COVID-19.

Following the COVID-19 lockdown, many catering and hospitality establishments are starting to open their doors again and provide seated service. But what does that mean for employers and employees? What needs to be done to make sure everyone feels safe?

Aimed at both employers and employees, our online course provides the answers to these questions.

Following the government guidance and providing best practice advice, it helps you find a way of returning to work safely.

The topics you will cover are:

  • An overview of the current COVID-19 guidance
  • What social distancing means
  • What the terminology used by the government means
  • The impact of returning to work and how to plan and risk assess the work environment
  • The key things to consider when travel is needed for work
  • Things to consider when staff return to the workplace, including policies, procedures and training that should be considered

Please note – while this course includes guidance from across the UK, the content is primarily based upon regulations and guidance in England.
